Airport Volunteers
Travelers Aid Airport Volunteers answer phones, page travelers and dispense general information to the traveling public at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. Travelers Aid Volunteers continue daily to provide a helpful and friendly environment.
Duties of the volunteers include:
- Staff the information/referral booths at Will Rogers World Airport
- Provide courteous and friendly service
- Assist with directions and information
- Paging services
- Provide information for military personnel
- Distribute maps and brochures
- Assist with social service problems
- Provide a warm welcome and a big smile!
Community Outreach Volunteers
Volunteers needed to help with reception and clerical work. Various assignments include: greeting clients, answering phones, filing, and data entry.
Internships available for students who are pursuing a degree in psychology, sociology, human relations.
Family Outreach Volunteers
Volunteers needed to help with maintenance of transitional homes. Various home improvement projects include: painting, repairs, yard work.
Internships are available for students interested in social work.
General Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers or interns needed to assist with marketing, public relations and fund development.
