Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center of Oklahoma City has provided a helping hand to those in need since 1927. We are supported by United Way of Central Oklahoma, City and Government Contracts, and through the generosity of donors who want to lend a helping hand and give back to their community. Here are some ways you can help:

    Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center of Oklahoma City is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, and CONTRIBUTIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.


    Endowment Fund

    Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center of Oklahoma City has an endowment fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. This type of giving allows donors the opportunity to help their community and give a gift that will last for generations to come.

    The endowment fund is a permanent gift that will live on. These permanent funds are invested in the Oklahoma City Community Foundation's general pool. Annual earnings are distributed back to Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center of Oklahoma City for operations or other purposes designated by the donor.

    Make a gift to Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center's Endowment Fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation by December 31, 2008 and your gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000. The John Kirkpatrick Centennial Endowment Challenge was launched this spring. Travelers Aid has an endowment fund with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation and the organization will benefit from matching funding if you make a donation to support our mission to "Elevate the needy, homeless and stranded traveler to a position of self-sufficiency".
