Community Outreach Program
Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center is currently partnering with Workforce to provide clients with employment services which include: job search, training, completion of job applications and resume development. Workforce is currently offering services at Travelers Aid on Tuesdays and Thursday from 8:30 am until 12:00 noon. The first eight clients at our door will be seen by a Workforce representative. All clients interested in the Workforce program must have proper identification (State ID, Drivers License, Certified Birth Certificate or Passport as well as their Social Security Card).

Clients interested in receiving bus tokens for work search must meet with a Travelers Aid case manager on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bus tokens are on a first-come, first-serve basis and there is limited availability.

REACH Coordination

REACH is a coordinated monthly network meeting for area agencies serving the homeless and impoverished. This meeting is facilitated and coordinated through Travelers Aid to coordinate advocacy, training, education, and resource showcasing for over seventy case work providers representing fifty local agencies. Originally funded through the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, this coordination was incorporated into Travelers Aid’s general operating budget in 1993.

Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance Center's mission is to elevate the needy, homeless and stranded travelers to a position of self-sufficiency.
